Thomas Family Tree, LLC is a family owned and operated landscape company based in Vancouver, Washington. We are licensed, bonded and insured in the state of Washington.
Following graduation from Western Washington University, Daniel Thomas spent a year and a half working in the Okanagen Valley orchards of north central Washington. Later, after felling trees in the Oregon and Washington forests for a year and a half, he ran a sawmill in Michigan for two years. Since 1976, when he and Judy married, Daniel and the family have continued to be involved in tree care and landscaping. Daniel became a Certified Arborist through the International Society of Arboriculture in 2008.
Daniel and Judy’s two sons, Jonathan and Joseph, have been part of the family business since childhood. They grew up mowing lawns, trimming hedges and pruning trees. In 2002, they studied arboriculture under John Buttrell, a Certified Arborist, and since then they have become proficient in pruning, thinning, and crown reduction. When Daniel passed away in 2008, Joseph, his wife Celeste, and Jonathan decided to continue the family business. In 2009 Joseph obtained his Arborist Certification.
